In this paper, we introduce the concept of topological ?-semihypergroups as a generalization semihypergroups and semigroups. Also, present new connection between by special equivalence relation. Moreover, define consider quotient maps homomorphisms on ?-semihypergroups.

It has recently been observed by Zuiddam that finite graphs form a preordered commutative semiring under the graph homomorphism preorder together with join and disjunctive product as addition multiplication, respectively. This led to new characterization of Shannon capacity $\Theta$ via Strassen's Positivstellensatz: $\Theta(\bar{G}) = \inf_f f(G)$, where $f : \mathsf{Graph} \to \mathbb{R}_+$ r...

We develop an obstruction theory for homotopy of homomorphisms f, g : M → N between minimal differential graded algebras. We assume that M = ΛV has an obstruction decomposition given by V = V0⊕V1 and that f and g are homotopic on ΛV0. An obstruction is then obtained as a vector space homomorphism V1 → H(N ). We investigate the relationship between the condition that f and g are homotopic and th...

One of unsolved problems in quantum measurement theory is to characterize coexistence of quantum effects. In this paper, applying positive operator matrix theory, we give a mathematical characterization of the witness set of coexistence of quantum effects and obtain a series of properties of coexistence. We also devote to characterizing bijective morphisms on quantum effects leaving the witness...

Understanding how the brain stores and processes information is central to mathematical neuroscience. Neural data is often represented as a neural code: a set of binary firing patterns C ⊂ {0, 1}n. We have previously introduced the neural ring, an algebraic object which encodes combinatorial information, in order to analyze the structure of neural codes. We now relate maps between neural codes ...

The familiar classical result that a continuous map from a space $X$ to a space $Y$ can be defined by giving continuous maps $varphi_U: U to Y$ on each member $U$ of an open cover ${mathfrak C}$ of $X$ such that $varphi_Umid U cap V = varphi_V mid U cap V$ for all $U,V in {mathfrak C}$ was recently shown to have an exact analogue in pointfree topology, and the same was done for the familiar cla...

We consider pairs of maps from a discrete group Γ to the unitary group. The deficiencies of these maps from being homomorphisms may be great, but if they are close to each other then we call such pairs balanced. We show that balanced pairs determine elements in the K group of the classifying space of the group. We also show that a Fredholm representation of Γ determines balanced pairs.

The main purpose is to characterise continuous maps that are n-branched coverings in terms of induced maps on the rings of functions. The special properties of Frobenius n-homomorphisms between two function spaces that correspond to n-branched coverings are determined completely. Several equivalent definitions of a Frobenius n-homomorphism are compared and some of their properties are proved. A...

A. This article address two issues. First, we explore to what extend the techniques of Piunikhin, Salamon and Schwarz in [PSS96] can be carried over to Lagrangian Floer homology. In [PSS96] an isomorphism between Hamiltonian Floer homology and singular homology is established. In contrast, Lagrangian Floer homology is not isomorphic to the singular homology of the Lagrangian submanifold,...
