以Nd∶YAG、Cr∶Nd∶YAG和Ce∶Nd∶YAG三种激光材料为研究对象,采取以空间应用和地面应用为导向的两种太阳光谱模型,计算了太阳辐射光谱与材料吸收光谱之间的重叠效率。将激光材料的吸收系数引入重叠效率,分析了经吸收系数修正后,激光材料的太阳光谱匹配效率随吸收长度的变化关系。当接近光谱匹配效率极限值时,地面太阳光谱模型下Nd∶YAG、Cr∶Nd∶YAG和Ce∶Nd∶YAG所需要的吸收长度分别为6.5 cm、4.4 cm和3.7 cm,空间太阳光谱模型下所需要的吸收长度分别为7.3 cm、4.3 cm和3.8 cm,所研究的吸收长度为激光材料的长度参数设计提供了可供参考的最大值。同时Ce∶Nd∶YAG晶体计算出的长度最短,预计泵浦光在该材料中传输时引入的散射损耗将最小,因此以Ce∶Nd∶YAG晶体作为激光材料,有望进一步提高和改善太阳光泵浦激光器的输出性能。
