A checklist of the family Simuliidae (Diptera) is provided for Finland and recognizes 56 species. One new record has been added (Simuliumlatipes) and one name sunken in synonymy (Simuliumcarpathicum). Furthermore, Simuliumtsheburovae is treated as a doubtful record.
