When parametric control methods such as the OGY [1] or OtaniJones method [2] are applied to synchronisation, computing the sensitivity vectors at each step poses special problems. In this paper we show that it is possible to use an artificial neural network to calculate the sensitivity vectors when synchronising two chaotic maps.

We prove that the lower bounds for Betti numbers of the rack, quandle and degeneracy cohomol-ogy given in [CJKS] are in fact equalities. We compute as well the Betti numbers of the twisted cohomology introduced in [CES]. We also give a group-theoretical interpretation of the second cohomology group for racks.
