In this paper, several steps of the standard H∞ loop-shaping design procedure are combined into one optimization problem that maximizes the robust stability margin over the loop-shaping weights subject to constraints which ensure that the loop-shape and the singular values/condition numbers of the weights lie in pre-specified regions. Thus, loop-shaping weights, which can be required to have ei...
Accurate numericalintegrationof singularfunctions usually requireseither adaptivity or product integration. Both interfere with fast summation techniques and thus hamper large-scale computations. This paper presents a method for computing highly accurate quadrature formulas for singular functions which combine well with fast summation methods. Given the singularity and the N nodes, we rst const...
In this paper, we introduce an algebra of singular integral operators containing Bessel potentials of positive order, and show that the corresponding unital Banach algebra is an inverseclosed Banach subalgebra of B(Lw), the Banach algebra of all bounded operators on the weighted space Lw, for all 1 ≤ q < ∞ and Muckenhoupt Aq-weights w. QR decomposition and fuzzy logic based scheme is proposed for through-wall image enhancement. QR decomposition is less complex compared to singular value decomposition. Fuzzy inference engine assigns weights to different overlapping subspaces. Quantitative measures and visual inspection are used to analyze existing and proposed techniques.
We study the small weight codewords of the functional code C2(Q), with Q a nonsingular quadric of PG(N, q). We prove that the small weight codewords correspond to the intersections of Q with the singular quadrics of PG(N, q) consisting of two hyperplanes. We also calculate the number of codewords having these small weights.
In this paper we give sufficient conditions on pair of weights (w, v) for some one-sided operators to be bounded from Lp(vp) to Lp(wp). The operators we deal with include the one-sided fractional maximal operator and the one-sided singular integrals. For the first operator necessary and sufficient conditions are knwon (see [MT], [LT]). These conditions usually amount to check the boundedness of...
We establish two-weight norm inequalities for singular integral operators defined on spaces of homogeneous type. We do so first when the weights satisfy a double bump condition and then when the weights satisfy separated logarithmic bump conditions. Our results generalize recent work on the Euclidean case, but our proofs are simpler even in this setting. The other interesting feature of our app...
Advantages • Can handle large camera displacements without being affected by degeneracies in the task space • Robust to Image Measurement Errors • No assumption of Planarity (or Non-planarity) • No requirement of a priori knowledge • Produces optimal camera trajectory while ensuring object visibility Approach • Hres is computed as a linear combination of four independent homographies • Weights ...
In this paper we develop computational techniques with enhanced accuracy for two frequency-weighted model reduction approaches, namely, balanced truncation, and singular perturbation approximation. New stability-enforcing choices of the frequency-weighted grammians can guarantee the stability of reduced models for two-sided frequency weights. Several numerical examples show the effectiveness of...
We study logarithmic conformal field theories (LCFTs) through the introduction of nilpotent conformal weights. Using this device, we derive the properties of LCFT’s such as the transformation laws, singular vectors and the structure of correlation functions. We discuss the emergence of an extra energy momentum tensor, which is the logarithmic partner of the energy momentum tensor. PACS: 11.25.Hf
