Surgical intervention on these lesions may increase the risk of fistula development and lead to worse outcomes. This case series examined 8 patients who underwent surgical intervention on what appeared to be benign perianal skin lesions, only to reveal fistulas leading to the diagnosis of Crohn's disea...

We stated a learning problem, which we call taming, and develop a method for this problem in [神嶌 08b, 神 嶌 08c, Kamishima 08a]. The fibroepithelial polyp of the urethra is rare in adults. Hematuria and obstructive urinary symptoms are the most common findings. The treatment of choice is endoscopic resection and the prognosis for these lesions is excellent. There is no previous report on recurrence. We describe 2 new cases, with 1 of them presenting recurrence following surgical resection.
