In the title compound, [Cd(NCS)(2)(C(7)H(7)NO)](n), the Cd(2+) ion is six-coordinated by one N,O-bidentate 1-(2-pyridyletahanone ligand, two N-bonded thio-cyanate ions and two S-bonded thio-cyanate ions.
