We establish the averaging property for a queuing process with one server, M(t)/G/1. It is a new relation between the output flow rate and the input flow rate, crucial in the study of the Poisson Hypothesis. Its implications include the statement that the output flow always possesses more regularity than the input flow.

in biaxially strained p-mosfet with si channel, formation of a parasitic parallel channel due to misalignment of energy bands degrades device performance by increasing off-state current. in this paper a new approach has been introduced to eliminate this parasitic channel by increasing the dopant concentration of virtual substrate up to . using simulation the impact of this method on the parasit...

Packet queuing and scheduling, two of the critical components in an input-queued packet switch, have been extensively studied in the context of either pure unicast traffic or pure multicast traffic. Unfortunately, the results from a study in one context are not applicable to the other context. The design of integrated scheduling for both types of traffic remains an open issue. This paper deals ...

New trends in multi-agent systems call for self-adaptation and high dynamics, hence the new model of open MAS or virtual organization of agents. This paper describes a system based on virtual organizations of agents that allows planning of tasks that minimizes the resources necessary for its accomplishment and obtains the maximum profits. For this purpose, a genetic algorithm , queuing theory, ...

Quality of Service (QoS) techniques are applied in IP networks to utilize available network resources in the most efficient manner to minimize delays and delay variations (jitters) in network traffic having multiple type of services. Multimedia services may include voice, video and database. Researchers have done considerable work on queuing disciplines to analyze and improve QoS performance in...

wheat production with the least use of chemical inputs is an important goal of modern farming to decrease of negative effects of the use of chemical inputs. this paper has estimated the virtual profit of organic wheat in transition period using a cross sectional data of 453 wheat producers of khorasan razavi province during 2007. a model introduced to this objective so that it has ability of es...

Virtual Organization Clusters (VOCs) provide a novel architecture for overlaying dedicated cluster systems on existing grid infrastructures. VOCs provide customized, homogeneous execution environments on a per-Virtual Organization basis, without the cost of physical cluster construction or the overhead of per-job containers. Administrative access and overlay network capabilities are granted to ...
