人工的に創出された公園の湛水型調整池に，修景的，生態的機能を付加する目的で水辺緑化を行った事例を対象に，15年経過した時点で植物の生育状況の調査を行った。施工に際しては貧栄養である砂質土を用い，それぞれ湿生植物，抽水植物の生育を意図した湿生部，抽水部を水辺域に創出し，比較的草高が低い植物種を中心に植栽を行った。周囲はシバであり，定期的な管理が行われたが，水辺域において植生の管理作業は行われていない。植栽種は概ね活着し，群落を形成した。その後，種子による生育範囲の拡大が見られた種，植栽した場所に概ね留まった種など，種による差が見られたものの，比較的安定した水辺植生の群落を形成した。一方，外部からの侵入種も見られ，ヒシによる水面の優占，1箇所でヨシの優占が見られたものの，景観を著しく害することはなく，水生生物の生息空間として機能するなど，植栽した植物を中心に安定した水辺エコトーンを形成し...
