In many dynamic systems large vibration amplitudes occur if the operation frequency is near resonance frequency. Also during passage result. order to reduce amplitude of oscillation a suitable excitation can be applied. The force driven single degree freedom harmonic oscillator used analyse reaction system variable analysis starts with mathematical transformation signal in identify influence di...

A 4x4 factorial experiment with a completely randomized design with three replications was conducted separately on two major pistachio varieties, Ohady and Kaleghoochy, to investigate the effects of shaking amplitude and frequency on pistachio nut and cluster detachment. Four levels of shaking frequencies used for Ohady were 5, 7.5, 10 and 12.5 Hz, while those of Kaleghoochy were 7.5, 10, 12.5 ...

We propose an online signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) estimation scheme for Nakagamifading channels with branch equal gain combining (EGC) diversity. We derive the SNR estimate based on the statistical ratio of certain observables over a block of data, and use the SNR estimates in the iterative decoding of turbo codes on Nakagamifading channels with branch EGC diversity. We evaluate the turbo decode...

This paper studies the impact of ambiguity and ambiguity aversion on equilibrium asset prices and portfolio holdings in competitive financial markets. It argues that attitudes toward ambiguity are heterogeneous across the population, just as attitudes toward risk are heterogeneous across the population, but that heterogeneity of attitudes toward ambiguity has different implications than heterog...

Nonfactorizable effects in hadronic charmless B → PP, V P decays can be parametrized in terms of the effective number of colors N eff c in the effective parameters a eff i that are linear combinations of Wilson coefficients. It is shown that N eff c (V + A) in the penguin amplitudes induced by the (V −A)(V +A) four-quark operators is different from N eff c (V −A) in the decay amplitudes arising...

While the factorization assumption works well for many two-body nonleptonic B meson decay modes, the recent measurement of B̄ → D(∗)0M0 with M = π, ρ and ω shows large deviation from this assumption. We analyze the B → D(∗)M decays in the perturbative QCD approach based on kT factorization theorem, in which both factorizable and nonfactorizable contributions can be calculated in the same framewo...

Decay Υ(1s) → γf2(1270) is studied by an approach in which the tensor meson, f2(1270), is strongly coupled to gluons. Besides the strong suppression of the amplitude Υ(1s) → γgg, gg → f2 by the mass of b-quark, d-wave dominance in Υ(1s) → γf2(1270) is revealed from this approach, which provides a large enhancement. The combination of these two factors leads to larger B(Υ(1s) → γf2(1270)). The d...
