Tag collision is one of the most important issues in RFID systems and many tag anti-collision protocols were proposed in literature. But some kind of these protocols like Tree-based protocols (specifically Query tree) which its performance depends on tag ID length and construction, have some issues like ID distribution. In this paper we discuss about Query tree protocol which may influenced by ...

In this paper we discuss how to reduce identification time with a given number of tags in the field of an RFID reader. This paper proposes three methods for fast tag identification: bi-slotted tree based RFID tag anti-collision protocols, query tree based reservation, and the combining method of them. Theses proposed methods can be used for enhancing the identification speed of RFID systems.

Abstract Due to their limitless possibilities and low cost, RFID systems are powerful object identi cation tools well-suited in everyday applications. When attempting to identify multiple RFID tags from densely populated elds within the shortest timeframe possible, the typical design characteristics of RFID systems lead to a problematic lack of adequate resources to e ciently do so. After a bri...

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) uses wireless radio frequency technology to automatically identify tagged objects. Despite the extensive development of the RFID technology in many areas, tags collisions still remain a major problem. This issue is known as the collision problem and can be solved by using anti-collision techniques. Current probabilistic anticollision approaches suffer from ...

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) System admits rapid identification of entities by itself in the discipline of pervasive computing. RFID system comprises readers and tags. Readers are communicating with the tag by broadcasting RF signals. In existing RFID system channel assignment, tag identification and collision is a vital issue. Henceforth efforts are requisite to minimize these issues....

Common programme observations by the EISCAT UHF radar revealed an extended interval, post geomagnetic local noon on 03 April 1992, during which the F-region ion velocity orthogonal to the geomagnetic ®eld was signi®cantly enhanced, to values exceeding 2 km s corresponding to a perpendicular electric ®eld of some 100 mV m. Observations from this interval are used to illustrate a method by which ...

We detected single living bacterial cells on ultramicroelectrode (UME) using a single-particle collision method and optical microscopic methods. The number of collision events involving the bacterial cells indicated in current-time (i-t) curves corresponds to the number of bacterial cells (i.e., Escherichia coli) on the UME surface, as observed visually. Simulations were performed to determine ...
