جنس ولیک (.crataegus l) در ایران مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته است. از این جنس جمعاً 22 گونه و 5 هیبرید از ایران تشخیص داده می شود. که 3 گونه زیر بعنوان گونه های جدید معرفی و شرح داده می شود. crataegus aminii, c. assadii, c. babakhanloui کلید شناسایی گونه های شناخته شده برای ایران ارائه می گردد. والدین هیبرید ها مشخص و تفاوت آنها با هیبرید های شناخته شده مقایسه می شود.
