In this paper, we have proposed a q-deformed Jaynes-Cummings(JC) model and constructed the q-SuperCoherent States(q-SCSs) for the q-deformed JC model. We have also discussed the properties of the qsupercoherent states and given the completeness relation expression. We consider the Jaynes-Cummings model for N particles in the thermodynamic limit showing how it can produce decoherence on a Schrödinger cat state. This mechanism can be observed in current experiments with cavities. PACS: 03.65.Yz, 5.70.Ln
