The present study is devoted to an approximate modeling for numerical simulation of flows past oscillating airfoils. In this study, it is shown that the harmonic oscillating objects can be studied by simple numerical codes that are not able to solve moving grids. Instead of using moving grid for the simulation of flowfield around an oscillating airfoil, this unsteady flow is solved on a fixed g...

in this paper, a concept of generalized weakly contraction mappings in partially ordered fuzzy metric spaces is introduced and  coincidence point  theorems on partially ordered fuzzy metric spaces are proved. also, as the corollary of these theorems, some common fixed point theorems on partially ordered fuzzy metric spaces are presented.

The well-known Tarski’s fixed point theorem asserts that an increasing mapping from an n-dimensional box to itself has a fixed point. In this paper, a constructive proof of this theorem is obtained from an application of the (n+1)-ray arbitrary starting simplicial algorithm. The algorithm assigns an integer label to each point of the box and employs a triangulation to subdivide the box into sim...

In this paper, we introduce two new concepts, generalized ?-?-FZ-contraction and modified ?-?-FZ-contraction, which unify several types of contractions in the context fuzzy metric spaces. We discuss existence uniqueness results such mappings setting a complete space sense George Veeramani present significant consequences our obtained by using variant examples for FZ-simulation functions admissi...

We prove results concerning data dependence of Noor and SP iterative schemes using certain quasi-contractive operators in real Banach spaces. Our results reveal that by choosing an approximate quasi-contractive operator (for which it is possible to compute the fixed point); we can approximate the fixed point of the given operator. An example is also provided to explain the validity of our results.

Many epithelia have a common planar cell polarity (PCP), as exemplified by the consistent orientation of hairs on mammalian skin and insect cuticle. One conserved system of PCP depends on Starry night (Stan, also called Flamingo), an atypical cadherin that forms homodimeric bridges between adjacent cells. Stan acts together with other transmembrane proteins, most notably Frizzled (Fz) and Van G...

in this paper, we improve some recent coupled fixed point resultsfor single-valued operators in the framework of ordered $b$-metricspaces established by bota et al. [m-f. bota, a. petrusel, g.petrusel and b. samet, coupled fixed point theorems forsingle-valued operators in b-metric spaces, fixed point theoryappl. The main result of the paper is to prove for every r ≥ 0 and n > n0(r) that every antichain on n vertices and consisting of more than ( n r ) sets contains two members whose symmetric difference is at least 2r + 2. The bound is best possible and all the extremal families are determined. For r ≥ 3 we show that n > 6(r + 1)2 is sufficient.

In the present paper, we show that $S^*$ iteration method can be used to approximate fixed point of almost contraction mappings. Furthermore, we prove that this iteration method is equivalent to CR iteration method  and it produces a slow convergence rate compared to the CR iteration method for the class of almost contraction mappings. We also present table and graphic to support this result. F...
