The specific heat of liquid helium was calculated theoretically in the Landau theory . The results deviate from experimental data in the temperature region of 1.3 2.1 K. Many theorists subsequently improved the results of the Landau theory by applying temperature dependence of the elementary excitation energy , . As well known, many-body system has a total energy of Galilean covariant form. The...

In the framework of the linear theory, the representation theorem is derived for an incompressible liquid layer with a boundary of arbitrary shape and in a homogeneous gravity field. In addition, the asymptotic representation for the Green function, in a layer of constant thickness is obtained. The validity of the approach for the calculation of the tsunami wavefield based on the Green function...

In this paper, the fluorescence behaviour of nano colloids of ZnO has been studied as a function of the excitation wavelength. We have found that excitation at the tail of the absorption band gives rise to an emission that shifts with the change of the excitation wavelength. The excitation wavelength dependent shift of the fluorescence maximum is measured to be between 60 and 100 nm. This kind ...

One of the conclusions reached by recent studies of Barnes et al. and later Hide was "that atmospheric excitation alone was sufficient to account for the observed polar motion over (the studied) period, that there is apparently no need to invoke substantial excitation either by the fluid core or... earthquakes." The purpose of the present paper is to point out that their argument that led to th...

abstract: in this thesis, we focus to class of convex optimization problem whose objective function is given as a linear function and a convex function of a linear transformation of the decision variables and whose feasible region is a polytope. we show that there exists an optimal solution to this class of problems on a face of the constraint polytope of feasible region. based on this, we dev...

We implement the de-excitation processes of residual nuclei associated with proton decays in C 12 based on GENIE generator and TALYS code. To derive reasonable excitation energy spectra B 11 , 10 Be default nucleon decay is modified terms Spectral Function nuclear model. Then we use code to estimate nuclei. The calculation can partly account for experimental data.

Both color screening and regeneration are hot medium effects on charmonium production in heavy ion collisions. While they affect in an opposite way the charmonium yield, their competition in transverse dynamics bring sensitivity to the ratio of averaged transverse momentum square for charmonium, which thus can reveal more nature of the QCD medium created from the collisions. We make an excitati...

An integrated Boltzmann+hydrodynamics transport approach is applied to investigate the dependence of the mean transverse mass on the freeze-out and the equation of state over the energy range from Elab = 2 − 160A GeV. This transport approach based on the Ultra-relativistic Quantum Molecular Dynamics (UrQMD) with an intermediate hydrodynamic stage allows for a systematic comparison without adjus...

Excitability of individual neurons dictates the overall excitation in specific brain circuits. This process is thought to be regulated by molecules that regulate synapse number, morphology and strength. Neuronal excitation is also influenced by the amounts of neurotransmitter receptors and signaling molecules retained at particular synaptic sites. Recent studies revealed a key role for PSD-95, ...

Longitudinal hadron spectra from Proton-Proton (pp) and nucleusnucleus (AA) collisions from Elab = 2 AGeV to √ s = 200 AGeV are investigated. The widths of the rapidity spectra for various particle species increases monotonously with energy. The present calculation indicates no sign of a step like behaviour as excepted from the Kaon transverse mass systematics. For Pions, the transport simulati...
