We present a new solution in Einstein-Maxwell theory which can be considered as the magnetized version of Kerr-Taub-NUT solution. Some properties spacetime are discussed. also compute entropy extremal black hole by using Kerr/CFT correspondence approach.

Identification problems of linear dynamic systems in the class of parametric mathematical models are considered. A method of calculating of guaranteed estimates of indefinite parameters is proposed. The method is based on the specific semiinfinite extremal problems solution.

We explore a new general-purpose heuristic for finding high-quality solutions to hard optimization problems. The method, called extremal optimization, is inspired by self-organized criticality, a concept introduced to describe emergent complexity in physical systems. Extremal optimization successively replaces extremely undesirable elements of a single sub-optimal solution with new, random ones...

Extremal Optimization (EO) is a relatively new single search-point optimization heuristic based on self-organized criticality. Unlike many traditional optimization heuristics, EO focuses on removing poor characteristics of a solution instead of preserving the good ones. This thesis will examine the physical and biological inspirations behind EO, and will explore the application of EO on four un...

We investigate charged black holes coupled to a massive dilaton. It is shown that black holes which are large compared to the Compton wavelength of the dilaton resemble the Reissner-Nordström solution, while those which are smaller than this scale resemble the massless dilaton solutions. Black holes of order the Compton wavelength of the dilaton can have wormholes outside the event horizon in t...

We study the existence and computation of extremal solutions of a system of inequations defined over lattices. Using the Knaster-Tarski fixed point theorem, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of supremal as well as infimal solution of a given system of inequations. Iterative techniques are presented for the computation of the extremal solutions whenever they exist, and conditions...

Generalizing the concept of zero{error capacity beyond its traditional links to any sort of information transmission we give an asymptotic solution to several hard problems in extremal set theory within a uniied, formally information{theoretic framework. The results include the solution of far{reaching generalizations of R enyi's problem on qualitatively independent partitions.

A calculation formula is established for the codimension of the polynomial subspace in L2(R, dμ) with discrete indeterminate measure μ. We clarify how much the masspoint of the n-canonical solution of an indeterminate Hamburger moment problem differs from the masspoint of the corresponding N-extremal solution at a given point of the real axis.

In this paper we consider a quark moving in D = 5, N = 2 supergravity thermal plasma. By using three charge non-extremal black hole solution (STU solution) we calculate drag force on the quark and diffusion constant from AdS/CFT correspondence.
