The design and synthesis of 5,7-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-2-thioaceto-(2-fluorobenzyl) hydrazone (TPTH), which self-assembled into supramolecular microfibers with blue organic light-emitting properties, is reported.
