The East Palaearctic seed beetle Bruchidius terrenus (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Bruchinae) is recorded for the first time to the Bulgarian fauna. Larvae of the bruchid infest mature seeds of introduced mimosa Albizia julibrissin (Fabacea), an ornamental tree in many countries.
