in this paper we introduce the concept of dirac structures on (hermitian) modules and vectorbundles and deduce some of their properties. among other things we prove that there is a one to onecorrespondence between the set of all dirac structures on a (hermitian) module and the group of allautomorphisms of the module. this correspondence enables us to represent dirac structures on (hermitian)mod...

One of the most significant challenges in mobile robotics are found in the autonomous navigation area, where the robot must be able to feel and act in an uncertain and geometrically restricted environment, without suffering any type of external interference. The development of an architecture that allows the autonomous navigation arises as a unique combination of issues such as perception, loca...

Let  be a commutative ring and  be a unitary  module. We define a semi prime sub module of a module and consider various properties of it. Also we define semi-radical of a sub module of a module and give a number of its properties. We define modules which satisfy the semi-radical formula and present the existence of such a module.

Abstract We define operator-valued Schur and Herz–Schur multipliers in terms of module actions, show that the standard properties these follow from well-known facts about actions duality theory for group actions. These results are applied to study an abelian acting on its Pontryagin dual: it is shown a natural subset can be identified with classical direct product dual group.

This is a preliminary report on the design of a modular language for describing actions. In the new language, an action description consists of several modules; each module describes a set of interrelated fluents and actions. “Import statements” allow the user to provide references to other modules and thus characterize new fluents and actions by relating them to others, introduced earlier. Thi...

JBoss is an extensible Java application server that affords remote access to EJB components via multiple protocols. Its IIOP module supports IIOP-enabled EJBs, which are accessible both to RMI/IIOP clients written in Java and to CORBA clients written in various languages. While other systems use compilation-based approaches to generate IIOP stubs and skeletons, JBoss employs reflective techniqu...

Often A is called H-module algebra. We refer reader to [11, 6] for the basic information concerning Hopf algebras and their actions on associative algebras. Definition 1.2 The invariants of H in A is the set AH of those a ∈ A, that ha = ε(h)a for each h ∈ H. Straightforward computations show, that AH is subalgebra of A. The notion of action of Hopf algebra on associative algebra generalize the ...

The paper discusses the issues concerning monitoring and diagnosis of a multi-robot system involving a team of mobile robots providing services in an environment which is partially observable via a net of sensors. The paper describes the techniques for monitoring on-line the progress of the actions performed by robots and detecting deviations from the nominal actions behaviour. Because of the p...

This paper presents a GA-based multi-agent reinforcement learning bidding approach (GMARLB) for performing multi-agent reinforcement learning. GMARLB integrates reinforcement learning, bidding and genetic algorithms. The general idea of our multi-agent systems is as follows: There are a number of individual agents in a team, each agent of the team has two modules: Q module and CQ module. Each a...
