Nerve sheath myxoma (NSM) of the oral mucosa is a slow-growing, benign, often asymptomatic submucosal mass. We report on a case of classical NSM of the tongue, with diagnostic and therapeutic approach to the case. Many NSM arise within the endoneurium of a peripheral nerve. It is a rare condition with no apparent differences between sexes in its prevalence. It can occur at any age.

There are two distinct objectives in monitoring geological carbon sequestration (GCS): Deep monitoring of the reservoir's integrity and plume movement and near-surface monitoring (NSM) to ensure public health and the safety of the environment. However, the minimum detection limits of the current instrumentation for NSM is too high for detecting weak signals that are embedded in the background l...

Following Adam Smith’s line of argument, we examine the semantics four economic principles in Chapter III Wealth Nations that compose his famous proposition “that division labour is limited by extent market.” We apply Natural Semantic Metalanguage framework linguistics to produce a series explications are clear and plain, cross-translatable into any language, intelligible twenty-first-century r...

A framework for composition synthesis is provided in which metalanguage combinators are supported and the execution of synthesized programs can be staged into composition-time code generation (stage 1) and run-time execution (stage 2). By extending composition synthesis to encompass both object language (L1) and metalanguage (L2) combinators, composition synthesis becomes a powerful and flexibl...

Nipple-sparing mastectomy (NSM) is an increasingly utilized surgical option in managing breast carcinoma; however, data on malignant involvement of a separately submitted nipple margin are scant. Consecutive NSM, including those performed for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes, over a 4-year period (2007-2011), were studied. A separately submitted nipple margin was evaluated by permanent H&E...

This study addresses the problem of improving the quality of natural language (NL) understanding by means of the involvement of the additional criterion of correct formal representation of the input inquiry. This criterion is based on the logical compatibility between the input inquiry, translated into the formal language, and the domain, encoded in the same language. Inquiry generality is meas...

Introduction The problem addressed in this paper is establishment of semantic invariants to serve as a kind of metalanguage of ”senses” valid for the natural language systems under consideration. We see the key objective of natural language processing in developing multilingual facilities of computer access to knowledge contained in texts. Our experience in design and implementation of natural ...

What is the right way of thinking about the metalanguage in which natural language semantics takes place? I will eventually get to the idea that the best way of understanding the role of this language involves seeing natural language semantics as a model-based science (using ‘model’ in the general sense of a scientific model, not in the technical sense of model theory). To get there, I first cr...

As is known, metalanguage is a language by means of which another language is described. The latter is called object-language. One and the same language may play the role of object-language and metalanguage. For example, the Russian language taken as an object of linguistic description is an object-language, the Russian language used for a linguistic description of Russian is a metalanguage. Th...

BACKGROUND Nipple-sparing mastectomy (NSM) is a recent advance in the therapeutic and prophylactic management of breast cancer; however, the procedure is associated with increased reconstructive complications. Data on NSM after previous breast augmentation are limited. OBJECTIVES The authors compared reconstructive complications after NSM between patients with previously augmented breasts and...
