The aim of this paper is to present a short survey of several new results concerning optimization of discrete inclusions. We study an optimization problem given by a discrete inclusion with end point constraints and we present several approaches concerning first and secondorder necessary optimality conditions for this problem.
Deep reinforcement learning was employed to optimize chemical reactions. Our model iteratively records the results of a chemical reaction and chooses new experimental conditions to improve the reaction outcome. This model outperformed a state-of-the-art blackbox optimization algorithm by using 71% fewer steps on both simulations and real reactions. Furthermore, we introduced an efficient explor...
in recent years, several oconjugation protocols have been developed to improve the functional properties of the enzyme lysozyme. in this study, the optimum conditions of lysozyme – oxidized inulin conjugation and functional properties of the modified lysozyme were investigated. initially, inulin (mw about 25 kda) was oxidized by periodate to provide the reactive carbonyl groups to attach to am...
in this paper, two new quadrilateral elements are formulated to solve plane problems. low sensitivity to geometric distortion, no parasitic shear error, rotational invariance, and satisfying the felippa pure bending test are characteristics of these suggested elements. one proposed element is formulated by establishing equilibrium equations for the second-order strain field. the other suggested...
Geometric programming is a mathematical technique, which has been developed for nonlinear optimization problems. This technique is based on the dual program with linear constraints. Determination of species concentrations in chemical equilibrium conditions is one of its applications in chemistry and chemical engineering fields. In this paper, the principles of geometric programming and its comp...
we consider nonconvex vector optimization problems with variable ordering structures in banach spaces. under certain boundedness and continuity properties we present necessary conditions for approximate solutions of these problems. using a generic approach to subdifferentials we derive necessary conditions for approximate minimizers and approximately minimal solutions of vector optimizatio...
The optimum analytical Conditions with regard to two or more variables can be determined in an unambiguous way by use of the simplex method. The method is particularly applicable to problems involving interacting variables. We describe the application of the simplex technique to the optimization of two procedures on a continuous-flow analyzer (AutoAnalyzer) and to the optimization of chemical v...
Background: Bromide is found naturally in groundwater and surface water. The rapid growth of industrial activities, drainage of surface runoff, and use of methyl bromide in pesticides has increased bromide discharge to the environment. Disinfection of water-containing bromide causes the creation of additional products of organo-halogenated that are considered cancer-causing agents. In...
