With the continuous development of the software radio technology, the mode of communication signal modulation recognition is becoming an important research direction. The article describes the spectrum of the digital signal modulation recognition method and takes advantage of some of the modulation signal when some modulation signal have the same power spectral density correlation function of t...

The problem of spectral subtraction, to estimate the parameters of a single source in colored noise, is used to show the relationships between the likelihood formulation and spectral density estimation. Reported previously as a filter bank processing for spectral estimation, it is shown that the normalized Capon estimate is the natural tool for source location in I-d and 2-d scenarios when the ...

high resolution range profile (hrrp) is being known as one of the most powerful tools for radar target recognition. the main problem with range profile for radar target recognition is its sensitivity to aspect angle. to overcome this problem, consecutive samples of hrrp (or feature vectors extracted from them)were assumed to be identically independently distributed (iid) in small frames of aspe...

let ‎x be an ‎‎n-‎‎‎‎‎‎square complex matrix with the ‎cartesian decomposition ‎‎x = a + i ‎b‎‎‎‎‎, ‎where ‎‎a ‎and ‎‎b ‎are ‎‎‎n ‎‎times n‎ ‎hermitian ‎matrices. ‎it ‎is ‎known ‎that ‎‎$vert x vert_p^2 ‎leq 2(vert a vert_p^2 + vert b vert_p^2)‎‎‎$, ‎where ‎‎$‎p ‎‎geq 2‎$‎ ‎and ‎‎$‎‎vert . vert_p$ ‎is ‎the ‎schatten ‎‎‎‎p-norm.‎ ‎‎ ‎‎in this paper‎, this inequality and some of its improvements ...

Two sets of grids of Kurucz ATLAS 9 model spectra are presented. The first one covers the GAIA spectral interval, while the second one which is still being computed covers the whole range from 2500 – 10500 Å. Both grids include parameters needed for realistic spectral simulation, e.g. stellar rotation and are computed at R = 20000 and lower spectral resolutions. They can be useful for preparati...

Compared to current mobile networks, nextgeneration mobile networks are expected to support higher numbers of simultaneously connected devices and to achieve higher system spectrum efficiency and lower power consumption. To achieve these goals, we study the multi-sharing device-todevice (D2D) communication, which allows any cellular user equipment to share its radio resource with multiple D2D d...

In response to Assembly Bill 32, the state of California considered three types of carbon emissions trading programs for the electric power sector: load-based, source-based, and first-seller. They differed in terms of their point of regulation and in whether in-state-to-out-of-state and out-of-state-to-in-state electricity sales are regulated. In this paper, we formulate a market equilibrium mo...

In this letter, we evaluate error performance limitations in oversampled subband adaptive lter applications based on an analysis of aliasing in the subband signals. The power spectral density of the minimum error signal is given by the aliased signal components. The presented analysis closely agrees with simulation results.

In this work we estimate the performance of a method for the detection of burst events in the data produced by interferometric gravitational wave detectors. We compute the receiver operating characteristics in the specific case of a simulated noise having the spectral density expected for Virgo, using test signals taken from a library of possible waveforms emitted during the collapse of the cor...
