The mucosal calcified nodule is a rare oral lesion that has a predilection for the young child. This case report describes an infant with a persistent and tender gingival swelling associated with an unerupted, maxillary central incisor. Besides a differential diagnosis for this entity, the causes of abnormal calcium deposits within the skin of children are discussed.

Cleidocranial dysplasia is an extremely rare familial disorder characterized by partial or complete absence of clavicles, characteristic craniofacial deformities, and the presence of numerous supernumerary and unerupted teeth. Central odontogenic fibroma (COF) is an extremely rare benign tumor that accounts for 0.1% of all odontogenic tumors. It is a lesion associated with the crown of an unerupted tooth resembling dentigerous cyst. In this report, a 10-year-old male patient is presented, who was diagnosed with central odontogenic fibroma of simple type from clinical, radiological, and histopathological findings.
