In this paper Theorem 3.1 of Kubiaczyk and Sushil Sharma [5] is shown to hold even under weaker hypothesis (Theorem 2.2) and we obtain a fixed point theorem (Theorem 2.3) involving occasionally weakly compatible maps and also prove a coincidence point theorem (Theorem 2.4) for a pair of self maps under certain conditions. Examples are provided to show that the hypothesis in Theorems 2.3 and 2.4...
Recommended by Massimo Furi We obtain several fixed point theorems for hybrid pairs of single-valued and multivalued occasionally weakly compatible maps defined on a symmetric space satisfying a contrac-tive condition of integral type. The results of this paper essentially contain every theorem on hybrid and multivalued self-maps of a metric space as a special case. under the Creative Commons A...
In this paper, we give some definitions of occasionally weakly compatible maps in fuzzy-2 metric and fuzzy-3 spaces common fixed point theorems for six mappings under the condition complete Fuzzy-2 Fuzzy-3 matric spaces. 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 47H10, 54H25
The main purpose of this manuscript is to prove a common fixed point theorem for two weakly compatible maps satisfying the following integral type contraction in \(G\)-metric space:\[\int^{G(\mathcal{F}x,\mathcal{F}y,\mathcal{F}z)}_0\varphi (t)dt\le \alpha \int^{L(x,y,z)}_0\varphi (t)dt,\] all \(x,y, z\in X\), where\begin{align*}L(x,y,z)&=\max\{G(gx, gy, gz), G(gx, \mathcal{F}x, \mathcal{F}...
This paper is to prove a common fixed point theorem for four self maps which generalizes the result of Brian Fisher [1] by a weaker conditions such as weakly compatible mappings and associated sequence instead of commuting mappings and completeness of a metric space.
In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for weakly compatible maps in Menger space which generalizes the result of Kutukcu [6] without appeal to continuity on this space. We also cited an example in support of our result. Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 47H10, Secondary 54H25
in this paper direct proofs of some common fixed point results for two and three mappings under weak contractive conditions are given. some of these results are improved by using different arguments of control functions. examples are presented showing that some generalizations cannot be obtained and also that our results are distinct from the existing ones.
