A light-weight, high specific surface current collector made of vertically-aligned carbon nanotubes grown on an aluminum substrate was fabricated and studied as a positive electrode in a semi-liquid lithium/polysulfide battery. This simple system delivered stable capacities over 1000 mA h gS(-1) and 2 mA h cm(-2) with almost no capacity loss over 50 cycles.

The establishment of Christmas tree plantations over the last 50 years in Greece has provided an additional income for the inhabitants of certain mountainous and semi-mountainous regions of the country and contributed to their development. In this paper is used a neural network which combined with ARIMA which makes forecast of number of actually cut Christmas trees until the year 2015.

Microsoft Research Asia participated in the 1CLICK task at NTCIR-9 using two different techniques: a statistical ranking approach and the utilization of semi-structured web knowledge sources. The evaluation results show the effectiveness of our approach: we found a 50% increase in Smeasure relative to the baseline. We present a module-bymodule error analysis, showing directions for future work.
