In this article, we employ certain properties of the transform $\mathscr{C}_{M,m}(A)=(M\mathbf1_{\mathcal{H}}-A^*)(A-m\mathbf1_{\mathcal{H}})$ to obtain new inequalities for bounded linear operator $A$ on a complex Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$. particular, relations among $|A|,|A^*|,|\mathfrak{R}A|$ and $|\mathfrak{I}A|$. Further numerical radius that extend some known will be presented too.

We consider a two-player, zero-sum diierential game governed by an abstract nonlinear diierential equation of accretive type in an innnite dimensional space. We prove that the value function of the game is the unique viscosity solution of the corresponding Hamilton-Jacobi-Isaacs equation in the sense of Crandall-Lions 12]. We also discuss some properties of this notion of solution.

The existence of periodic solutions for the evolution equation y′(t) + Ay(t) 3 F (t, y(t)) is investigated under considerably simple assumptions on A and F . Here X is a Banach space, the operator A is m-accretive, −A generates a compact semigroup, and F is a Carathéodory mapping. Two examples concerning nonlinear parabolic equations are presented.

Various eigenvalue and range results are given for perturbations of m-accretive and maximal monotone operators. The eigenvalue results improve and extend some recent results by Guan and Kartsatos, while the range theorem gives an affirmative answer to a recent problem of Kartsatos.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a compositeiterative scheme for approximating a common solution for a finitefamily of m-accretive operators in a strictly convex Banach spacehaving a uniformly Gateaux differentiable norm. As a consequence,the strong convergence of the scheme for a common fixed point ofa finite family of pseudocontractive mappings is also obtained.
