This contribution presents a description on the linguistic modelling in multiperson decision making. The linguistic approach in decision making, the aggregation of linguistic information, a decision process and some open research questions are discussed.

Sometimes, an individual may have vague information about the preference degree between two alternatives and can not estimate his preferences with an exact numerical value.
