A method is presented for solving the Bloch equation for Morse potential, based on the application of Fourier transformation of the density matrix. We describe a macro called defpun-exec to attach executable bodies to partial functions in ACL2. The macro makes use of two features mbe and defexec introduced in ACL2 from version 2.8, that afford a clean separation of execution efficiency from logical elegance.

This paper provides a simple and elegance approach for an empirical investigation of a model with Epstein-Zin (1989) preferences. The perturbation method implemented in Dynare is readily applicable for computation of equilibrium and welfare. A stylized new Keynesian economy with sticky prices is analyzed and optimal simple rules are accessed across various types of monetary policy rules.
