Various method of speed control of DC motor is available in the literature. This paper presents design and implements of fuzzy logic in the speed control of DC motor. Fuzzy logic has found high application as a speed control techniques because of its ability to take into account vague and uncertainties [1]. This paper presents a MATLAB simulink model for speed control of DC motor using fuzzy lo...
Data used in machine learning applications is prone to contain both vague and incomplete information. Many authors have proposed to use fuzzy rough set theory in the development of new techniques tackling these characteristics. Fuzzy sets deal with vague data, while rough sets allow to model incomplete information. As such, the hybrid setting of the two paradigms is an ideal candidate tool to c...
In this paper we study some models for dealing with Fuzzy Integer Linear Programming problems which have a certain lack of precision of a vague nature in their formulation. We present methods to solve them with either fuzzy constraints, or fuzzy numbers in the objective function or fuzzy numbers defining the set of constraints. These methods are based on the representation theorem and on fuzzy ...
The application of discounted cash #ow techniques for justifying manufacturing technologies is studied in many papers. State-price net present value and stochastic net present value are two examples of these applications. These applications are based on the data under certainty or risk. When we have vague data such as interest rate and cash #ow to apply discounted cash #ow techniques, the fuzzy...
Fuzzy Description Logics (fuzzy DLs) have been proposed as a language to describe structured knowledge with vague concepts. A major theoretical and computational limitation so far is the inability to deal with General Concept Inclusions (GCIs), which is an important feature of classical DLs. In this paper, we address this issue and develop a calculus for fuzzy DLs with GCIs.

Fuzzy reasoning based on fuzzy logic was first proposed by Zadeh to handle the vague concept of reasoning in our day to day life. Since the inception of fuzzy reasoning several extensions, specifications and applications on fuzzy reasoning have been developed by different researchers. Fuzzy reasoning is now a very well established method and has a tremendous potentiality in different applicatio...
Representation and manipulation of the vague concepts of partially true knowledge in the development of machine intelligence is a wide and challenging field of study. How to extract of approximate facts from vague and partially true statements has drawn significant attention from researchers in the fuzzy information processing. Furthermore, handling uncertainty from this incomplete information ...
in this paper, various elementary properties of vague rings are obtained. furthermore, the concepts of vague subring, vague ideal, vague prime ideal and vague maximal ideal are introduced, and the validity of some relevant classical results in these settings are investigated.
