A nonlinear theoretical model for deformations, oscillations, and drift motions of multiple elastic ice sheets in shallow waters due to combined waves uniform current is presented. The based on the Green–Naghdi theory fluid motion thin plate deformation sheets. In principle, there are N number floating with arbitrary lengths, drafts, rigidities, which may be located at distances from each other...

The drift motion of a freely floating deformable ice sheet in shallow water subjected to incident nonlinear waves and uniform current is studied by use the Green–Naghdi theory for fluid thin plate an elastic sheet. wave- current-induced forces are obtained integrating hydrodynamic pressure around body. oscillations translational then determined substituting flow-induced into equation resulting ...

In this paper, we present a new non-linear dispersive model for open channel and river flows. These equations are the second-order shallow water approximation of section-averaged (three-dimensional) incompressible irrotational Euler system. This asymptotic generalises well-known one-dimensional Serre–Green–Naghdi (SGN) rectangular section on uneven bottom to arbitrary channel/river section.

A surf zone model is developed and tested based on the Oðl4Þ Boussinesq–Green–Naghdi system of Zhang et al. (2013). Because the model is fundamentally rotational, it uses fewer ad hoc assumptions than are found in many Boussinesq breaking wave systems. Eddy viscosity is used to describe both breaking dissipation and bottom friction, with breaking viscosities derived from the turbulent kinetic e...

The present paper deals with a modified Serre–Green–Naghdi (mSGN) system that has been introduced by Clamond et al. (2017) to improve the dispersion relation. We precise blow-up scenario of mSGN equations and we prove existence class solutions develop singularities in finite time. All presented results hold, same proof, for surface tension.

Abstract In this investigation, a computational analysis is conducted to study magneto-thermoelastic problem for an isotropic perfectly conducting half-space medium. The medium subjected periodic heat flow in the presence of continuous longitude magnetic field. Based on Moore–Gibson–Thompson equation, new generalized model has been investigated address considered problem. introduced can be form...
