This study compared methods of demonstrating amyloidosis in human tissues to recommend suitable staining resource-poor settings. Human Liver and kidney were collected fixed 10% formal saline for 24 hours. sections obtained from post-mortem samples. Samples cut with a thickness 3mm the cutting-up room. The selected placed tissue baskets carefully labeled processed histologically. using an automa...
Based on the metachromatic property of Toluidine Blue O, three, convenient agar-diffusion methods have been developed that enable detection of the nuclease of Staphylococcus aureus at concentrations as low as 0.005 mug/ml in agar and broth cultures. The interactions of agar and deoxyribonucleic acid with Toluidine Blue O are discussed.
Abstract Subchondral bone degeneration is the main pathological change during temporomandibular joint (TMJ) osteoarthritis (OA) development. Netrin-1, an axon-guiding factor, might play roles in OA development and pain. The purpose of this study was to investigate expression Netrin-1 TMJ its possible role progression synovial fluids disorders (TMDs) patients were collected for by enzyme linked ...
Parathyroid glands from laying hens were also xed in percent glutaraldehyde in phosphate buffer (0.1 M, 7.3 pH) for araldite embedding and used for electron microscopy. For routine histological observations, sections of 5 to 6 um thickness were cut and stained by, Mayer’s haemalum and eosin-phloxine, Masson’s trichrome, Crossman’s modi cation of Mallory’s triple stain, van Gieson’s method fo...
OBJECTIVE The aim of the present study was to examine the relationship among male age, strict morphology, and sperm chromatin structure and condensation. METHODS Sperm samples from a total of 100 men underwent semen analysis, and sperm chromatin structure and condensation were assessed with toluidine blue (TB) and aniline blue (AB) tests. RESULTS Prevalence of strict morphology of less than...
introduction: skeletal staining is an important part of anatomical studies which can evaluate macroscopic disorders in bones and cartilages development. the aim of the present article is to illustrate two distinct protocols by all details in order to stain skeletal system of the lab animals in all ages of their lives so it becomes easy for future studies in this field. methods: in this paper, s...
abstract purpose: skeletal staining is a way to study the effect of many chemical or herbal substances on development of bones and cartilages in order to record the level of probable deformity.this article aimed to present a modified protocol to make all skeletal studies on laboratory animals possible. materials and methods: the important notes about skeletal staining were fixing by ethanol and...
