We introduce the concept of an extended O-operator that generalizes the wellknown concept of a Rota-Baxter operator. We study the associative products coming from these operators and establish the relationship between extended O-operators and the associative Yang-Baxter equation, extended associative Yang-Baxter equation and generalized Yang-Baxter equation.

We prove the first mathematical result relating the Yang-Mills measure on a compact surface and the Yang-Mills energy. We show that, at the small volume limit, the scaled YangMills measures satisfy a large deviation principle with a rate function which is expressed in a simple and natural way in terms of the Yang-Mills energy.

In this paper, a procedure which gives Euclidean solutions of 3-dimensional Einstein-Yang-Mills equations when one has solutions of the Einstein equations is proposed. The method is based on reformulating Yang-Mills theory in such a way that it becomes a gravity. It is applied to find black hole solutions of the coupled Einstein Yang-Mills equations.

Recently, Yang et al. improved Yang and Shieh’s two password authentication schemes to withstand Sun and Yeh’s forgery attacks. However, Kim et al. pointed out that Yang et al.’s improvements still cannot withstand forgery attacks. At the same time, Kim et al. proposed improved methods. In this paper, we shall show that Kim et al.’s improvements also cannot resist the forgery attacks.
