The hydro-distilled essential oil from dried aerial parts of one of widespread Iranian skullcaps, Scutellaria pinnatifida A. Hamilt. sap. alpina (Bornm.) Rech. grown in Khorassan province was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Thirty components were characterized ing 93.8% of the total components detected. The major components of the oil were germacrene-D (39.7%) and beta-caryophyllene (15.0%).

گونه primula fedtschenkoi که براساس فلورا ایرانیکا پراکنش آن تا کنون فقط از افغانستان و ازبکستان گزارش شده است، در این مقاله برای اولین بار از ایران (استان خراسان) گزارش می شود. این گونه از نظر ویژگی های ریخت شناسی با گونه شبیه به آن مقایسه شده است و تصویرها و نقشه پراکنش آن در ایران نشان داده شده است.
برای جنس galatella cass. تنها یک گونه (g. punctata) بر اساس 3 نمونه در شمال غرب ایران (استان آذربایجان شرقی) در فلور ایرانیکا گزارش شده است. در این مقاله گونه galatella litvinovii novopokr. برای اولین بار از ایران (شمال استان خراسان) گزارش می شود. این گونه قبلا انحصاری آسیای مرکزی (ترکمنستان و قرقیزستان) بوده است.
