Quantum chemistry calculations were done, using the ONIOM2 methodology at two different levels of calculation, B3LYP for the high level and UFF for the low level. These calculations were performed on Au3/SAPO-11, Au4/SAPO-11, CO-Au3/SAPO-11 and CO-Au4/SAPO-11 aggregates to analyze the geometries of small clusters of Au3 and Au4 on SAPO-11 support. Au3 cluster present a triangle structure in Au3...
Resistance to conventional anticancer chemotherapeutic agents remains one of the major problems in the treatment of bladder cancer. Hence, new therapeutic modalities are necessary to treat the drug-resistant cancers. Apo-2 ligand (Apo-2L) is member of the tumor necrosis factor ligand family, and it induces apoptosis in cancer cells. Several cytotoxic anticancer drugs, including Adriamycin (ADR)...
The crystallizatio n of mic roporous material SAPO-37 was studied under hydrothermal synthesis (HTS) and dry gel conversion (DGC) conditions. The evolution of the intermediate phases as a function of crystallization time was followed by several techniques including PXRD , SEM, AFM, and solid-state NMR. For DGC, SAPO-37 crystallizes from a semi-crysta lline layered precursor containing large por...
Silicoaluminophosphate SAPO-34 molecular sieve nanocrystals have been prepared by a post-synthesis milling and recrystallization method, which is further proven to be universally applicable to other SAPO molecular sieves. The obtained SAPO-34 with reduced Si enrichment on the external surface shows considerably improved catalytic performance in the MTO reaction.
Introduction SAPO-34 is a silicoaluminophosphate zeolite with 8-membered ring windows (~0.38nm) displaying chabazite structure. SAPO-34 is an efficient catalyst showing improved catalytic performance in reactions such as methanol conversion to olefins [1], oxidative dehydrogenation of propane [2], conversion of light alkenes [3]. Its catalytic properties are mainly attributed to its mild acidit...
A series of H-SAPO-34 zeolites were synthesized by a hydrothermal method in fluoride media. The as-synthesized H-SAPO-34 zeolites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), N2 physisorption, temperature-programmed desorption of NH3 (NH3-TPD) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements. The results showed that a certain concentration of F(-) anions p...
SAPO-56 crystals were synthesized via microwave heating. The resultant crystals displayed high catalytic activity in the synthesis of chloropropene carbonate from CO2 and epichlorohydrin. The enhanced catalytic activity of SAPO-56 crystals was related to their high CO2 adsorption capacity, small crystal size, and the presence of acid sites.
Using an organosilane surfactant as the mesopore director, hierarchical porous silicoaluminophosphate SAPO-34 is obtained as an assembly of nanocrystallites intergrown into cubic micrometer-sized crystals, which show excellent performance in MTO reactions with a remarkably prolonged catalyst lifetime and enhanced selectivity of ethylene and propylene compared to the conventional microporous SAP...
In this paper, conventional SAPO-34 and Cerium Hierarchical SAPO-34 zeolites are synthesized using a hydrothermal method for methanol-to-propylene (MTP) reaction. The Ce-H-SAPO-34 catalyst shows a slightly larger crystal size, bimodal pore size distribution (microporous and mesoporous) and lower surface acidity compared to conventional SAPO-34 catalysts. According to these physicochemical prope...
The cell-surface protein APO-1 is a member of the nerve growth factor (NGF)/tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily. APO-1 mediates apoptosis in susceptible cells upon stimulation with the monoclonal antibody anti-APO-1 or upon binding of its natural ligand. Soluble receptors had previously been identified for most members of the NGF/TNF receptor superfamily. Recently, a soluble form o...
