Multi-agent models for virtual reality and methods of construction for intelligent man-machine interface on their base are discussed. The main results are the development of human-machine interface on the base of virtual reality models for multi-agent robotic systems, assisting to neurosurgeon, computer animated agencies and for remote monitoring and multi-agent control of large territories and...

We have developed the capability of creating artificial agents that can feature a body and a mind, and can participate in networks of human and artificial agents. We first motivate our approach to modeling agents, then briefly describe the key capabilities of our agents on the whole, and finally discuss their broad utility in applications of clinical medicine.

Agent-based social simulation (ABSS) as a main computational approach to social simulation has attracted increasing attention in the field of social computing. With the development of computer and information technologies, many new ABSS approaches have been proposed with wide application.. In this paper, we aim at reviewing research and applications of agent-based social simulation and modeling...

the phenylthiourea-substituted triethoxysilane as a silane agent was synthesized and grafted on highly ordered nanoporous silica (lus-1) with a textured morphology and hexagonal array. this material (tu-lus-1) contained 0.8 mmol/g of soft base phenylthiourea group and surface area 760 m2g-1 and was able to adsorb 0.75 mmolhg/g of tu-lus-1 in endothermic reaction.

This paper presents a proposal for modeling agent mobility using UML Sequence Diagram. Our notation is focused on representing agent migration path and includes modeling of three basic mobility elements: agent creation, mobility path and current agent location. Four variants of graphical notation are presented. In a case study we explain one variant of notation that is the most suitable for giv...

The student modeling (SM) is a core component in the development of Intelligent Learning Environments (ILEs). In this paper we describe how a Multi-agent Intelligent Learning Environment can provide adaptive tutoring based in Case-Based Student Modeling (CBSM). We propose a SM structured as a multi-agent system composed by four types of agents. These are: the Case Learner Agent (CLA), Tutor Age...

Environmental modeling involves manipulating environmental attributes represented in software by agents, fields or both, but most modeling environments are designed to be especially useful for either agent-based or field-based modeling. Agent-based and field-based modeling environments have different properties with respect to their ease of use and how well both agents and fields can be represe...
