In the title compound, C(14)H(13)NO, the two six-membered rings make a dihedral angle of 52.8 (3)°. An intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond involving an amine H atom and the adjacent carbonyl O atom occurs. In the crystal, N-H⋯O and C-H⋯N inter-molecular hydrogen bonds are observed, which may be effective in stabilizing the structure.
