background: rapidly increasing possibilities of exposure to environmental extremely low-frequency electromagnetic fields (elf-emf) have become a topic of worldwide investigation. epidemiological and laboratory studies suggest that exposure to elf-emf may increase cancer risk therefore assessment of chromosomal damage in various cell lines might be of predictive value for future risk estimation....

The effects of noise on the calcium oscillations in a cell exposed to electromagnetic fields are described by a dynamic model. Noise is a very important factor to be considered in the dynamic research on the calcium oscillations in a cell exposed to electromagnetic fields. Some meaningful results have been obtained here based on the discussion. The results show that the pattern of intracellular...

Background and Objectives: with the developments of technology, contact with various frequencies of electromagnetic fields ( EMF ) has significantly increased, while the abundant benefits of using microwaves in routine life cannot be neglected. During recent years there have been reports of adverse effects caused by contact with electric and magnetic fields of these waves that spread from BTS a...

In the electromagnetic spectrum, structural damage to living tissues per unit of absorbed energy tends to increase with the decrease of a wavelength which is evident not only for ultraviolet and ionizing radiation but also for the infrared and visible light. By causing thermal damage after absorbing energies that would be harmless for radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (EMF), tissues are eve...

Electromagnetic fields are considered by many students as a difficult subject. Unwanted electromagnetic fields are even tougher for students. We have developed many experiments as demonstrations (demos) to show the effect of electromagnetic fields in real life products. This paper gives an overview of these demos.

Background: Effect of electromagnetic and radiofrequency fields on human health is not well understood, a concern is its effect on male infertility. With the increased use of modern technology, issue of protection against this fields has great importance. infertility is the problem to follow psychological - social consequences. The most common cause of infertility are: male factor, female facto...

The problem of unbounded uniaxial chiral omega media in the presence of both static electric and magnetic point charges is investigated. For this purpose scalar electric and magnetic potentials in these media are introduced. Using these potentials, the corresponding electric and magnetic fields are determined. The similar problem of static electric and magnetic current sources with the goal of ...

In addition to producing gravitational waves, the dynamics of a binary black hole system could induce emission of electromagnetic radiation by affecting the behavior of plasmas and electromagnetic fields in their vicinity. We here study how the electromagnetic fields are affected by a pair of orbiting black holes through the merger. In particular, we show how the binary's dynamics induce a vari...

Background and Objective: Diabetes influences the normal function of the pituitary-thyroid axis. According to the antidiabetic and antioxidant effects of curcumin and the different effects of electromagnetic fields on animal cells, this study was done to evaluate the effect of curcumin and weak low frequency electromagnetic fields on thyroid hormone serum levels in male diabetic rats. Materi...
