In this paper, we introduce two different notions of generalized supra soft sets namely supra A--soft sets and supra soft locally closed sets in supra soft topological spaces, which are weak forms of supra open soft sets and discuss their relationships with each other and other supra open soft sets [{it International Journal of Mathematical Trends and Technology} (IJMTT), (2014) Vol. 9 (1):37--...

Generalized random processes by various types of continuity are considered and classified as generalized random processes (GRPs) of type (I) and (II). Structure theorems for Hilbert space valued generalized random processes are obtained: Series expansion theorems for GRPs (I) considered as elements of the spaces L(A, S(H)−1) are derived, and structure representation theorems for GRPs (II) on K{...

Weyl’s theorem was proved independently by Nirenberg [15] and Pogorelov [16] using different approaches. Nirenberg used the continuity method that is more familiar to geometric analysts. The Pogorelov approach consists of two steps. First, Pogorelov exhibited a generalized solution as the limit of polyhedra and then Pogorelov proved the regularity of this generalized solution. Later, Pogorelov ...

The notion of generalized maximum likelihood estimate for finite dimensional canonically convex exponential families, studied in detail in previous works of the authors, is extended to an infinite dimensional setting. Existence of the estimate when a generalized log-likelihood function is bounded above, and a continuity property are established. Related literature and examples are discussed. MS...

Certain continuity properties of the factors in generalized polar decompositions of real and complex matrices are studied. A complete characterization is given of those generalized polar decompositions that persist under small perturbations in the matrix and in the scalar product. Connections are made with quadratic matrix equations, and with stability properties of certain invariant subspaces.

This paper is largely a review of known results about various aspects of geometric logic. Following Grothendieck’s view of toposes as generalized spaces, one can take geometric morphisms as generalized continuous maps. The constructivist constraints of geometric logic guarantee the continuity of maps constructed, and can do so from two different points of view: for maps as point transformers an...

A new class of generalized mixed implicit quasi-equilibrium problems (GMIQEP) with four-functions is introduced and studied. The new class of equilibrium problems includes many known generalized equilibrium problems and generalized mixed implicit quasi-variational inequality problems as many special cases. By employing the auxiliary principle technique, some predictor-corrector iterative algori...

The stability of optimal plans with respect to information is studied given the representation of information as sub-σ -fields of a probability space. A decision maker is constrained to choose a plan measurable with respect to her information. Continuity is derived by characterizing the continuity of the measurability constraint correspondence and then applying a generalized maximum theorem. Th...

Why does classical equilibrium statistical mechanics work? Malament and Zabell (1980) noticed that, for ergodic dynamical systems, the unique absolutely continuous invariant probability measure is the microcanonical. Earman and Rédei (1996) replied that systems of interest are very probably not ergodic, so that absolutely continuous invariant probability measures very distant from the microcano...
