the index is excellent by the malmquist index as extended to productivity measurement. the index developed here is defined in terms of input cost rather than input quantity distance functions in supply chain. therefore, we propose productivity change is decomposed into overall efficiency and cost technical change. these decompositions provide a clearer situation of the root sources of supply ch...

In this paper we propose a simple non-parametric model for multiple crite-ria supplier selection problem. The proposed model does not generate a zeroweight for a certain criterion and ranks the suppliers without solving the modeln times (one linear programming (LP) for each supplier) and therefore allowsthe manager to get faster results. The methodology is illustrated using anexample.

Nowadays Geometric Programming (GP) problem is a very popular problem in many fields. Each type of Fuzzy Geometric Programming (FGP) problem has its own solution. Sometimes we need to use the ranking function to change some part of GP to the linear one. In this paper, first, we propose a method to solve multi-objective geometric programming problem with trapezoidal fuzzy variables; then we use ...

In this paper, a regulation control problem for constrained nonlinear systems with quantized inputs is formulated as a Model Predictive Control (MPC) problem. The MPC problem is represented as a multi-parametric Nonlinear Integer Programming (mp-NIP) problem and a computational method to find an explicit approximate solution of this problem is considered. It consists in constructing a feasible ...

Explicit Model Predictive Control approach provides offline computation of the optimization law by Multi Parametric Quadratic Programming. The solution is Piece wise affine in nature. It is explicit representation of the system states and control inputs. Such law then can be solved using binary search tree and can be evaluated for fast dynamic systems. Implementing such controllers can be done ...

This paper covers the development of a robust, flexible, multi-configuration software tool for the modelling of powertrains of conventional and hybrid vehicles. Modern programming techniques allow greater flexibility and reuse of code as well as an intuitive way of modelling physical components in software. The proposed methodology for software modelling makes use of the core features of modern...
