A general common fixed point theorem for two pairs of weakly compatible self mappings proved in compact metric spaces employing a slightly modified implicit relation which generalizes almost all existing relevant common fixed point theorems. The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of  -chainable intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces and prove a common fixed point theorem for four weakly compatible mappings in this newly defined space. Our result is intuitionistic fuzzy version of Cho and Jung's [1] and Mukherjee's [9] results in  -chainable fuzzy metric space.

The main purpose of this paper is to study the existence of a fixed points in fuzzy n-normed spaces. we proved our main results, a fixed point theorem for a self mapping and a common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible mappings on fuzzy n-normed spaces. Also we gave some remarks on fuzzy n-normed spaces.

In this paper, we obtain a fixed point theorem for weakly compatible mappings by altering distances between the points via  contractive condition in D-metric spaces. Our work include the results of Bansal, Chugh and Kumar [1], Veerapandi and Chandersekher Rao [14], and Dhage [4]. An example is given at the end to prove the validity of the theorem.
