Neutrosophic set is a new mathematical tool for handling problems involving imprecise, indeterminacy and inconsistent data. Pseudo-BCI algebra is a kind of non-classical logic algebra in close connection with various non-commutative fuzzy logics. Recently, we applied neutrosophic set theory to pseudo-BCI algebras. In this paper, we study neutrosophic filters in pseudo-BCI algebras. The concepts...

We investigate classes of Boolean algebras related to the notion of forcing that adds Cohen reals. A Cohen algebra is a Boolean algebra that is dense in the completion of a free Boolean algebra. We introduce and study generalizations of Cohen algebras: semi-Cohen algebras, pseudo-Cohen algebras and potentially Cohen algebras. These classes of Boolean algebras are closed under completion.

A study was conducted to document the physical environment and growth performance of nursery pigs in hoop structures compared with pigs reared in confinement nurseries. A series of six trials involving a total of 1,440 nursery pigs were conducted at two Iowa State University research farms from December 1999 to August 2000. Regardless of season, the confinement pigs grew faster and consumed mor...

AIMS The aim of this study is to investigate how the myocardial bridge oppression affects the hoop stress of mural coronary artery. METHODS The "myocardial bridge - coronary artery" simulative device records the hoop stress which is changed by adjusting the external pressure of the simulated coronary artery and the oppression degree of the respectively. RESULTS Simulation experiment in vitr...

The purpose of this paper is to work out the categorical basis for the foundations of Conformal Field Theory. The definition of Conformal Field Theory was outlined in Segal [45] and recently given in [24] and [25]. Concepts of 2-category theory, such as versions of algebra, limit, colimit, and adjunction, are necessary for this definition. The structure present on the class C of rigged surfaces...

The concept of a Kleene algebra (sometimes also called lattice) was already generalized by the first author for non-distributive lattices under name pseudo-Kleene algebra. We extend these concepts to posets and show how (pseudo-)Kleene can be characterized identities implications assigned commutative meet-directoids. Moreover, we prove that Dedekind-MacNeille completion poset is finite Further,...

The paper applies the pseudo-linear algebra to unify the results on reducibility, reduction and transfer equivalence for continuousand discrete-time nonlinear control systems. The necessary and sufficient condition for reducibility of nonlinear input-output equation is presented in terms of the greatest common left factor of two polynomials describing the behaviour of the ‘tangent linearized sy...

The Archimedean property is one of the most beautiful axioms of the classical arithmetic and some of the methods of constructing the field of real numbers are based on this property. It is well-known that every Archimedean `-group is abelian and every pseudo-MV algebra is commutative. The aim of this paper is to introduce the Archimedean property for pseudo-MTL algebras and FLw-algebras. The ma...

The objective of this review paper is to document extensive bedded indoor and outdoor pig production in the United States, which has expanded due to growing niche markets for natural and organic pork. Bedded hoop (tentlike) barns are used for finishing pigs and gestating sows. Seasonal outdoor farrowing and some indoor bedded farrowing systems coupled with group lactation are used also. Most na...

A notion of vertex bialgebra and a notion of module nonlocal vertex algebra for a vertex bialgebra are studied and then a smash product construction of nonlocal vertex algebras is presented. For every nonlocal vertex algebra V satisfying a suitable condition, a canonical bialgebra B(V ) is constructed such that primitive elements of B(V ) are essentially pseudo derivations and group-like elemen...
