The concept of occasionally weakly compatible (shortly, owc) mappings introduced by Al-Thagafi and Shahzad [2], which is more general than the concept of weakly compatible maps. In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for owc mappings in Menger space using arbitrary continuous t-norm for a nonlinear case. Full text

In this paper, we establish a coincidence and a common fixed point for a pair of weakly compatible mappings under (ψ, φ)weakly contractive condition in G-metric spaces. Our results improve and generalize the results of Khandaqji et al. [20]. We also provide an example to support our results. Moreover, we prove that these mappings satisfy Property Q.

In this paper, firstly we prove a common fixed point theorem for weakly compatible mappings. Secondly, we peove common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings with E.A. and CLR property in a fuzzy metric space. At the end, we provide an example in support of our theorems. The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study the concepts of intuitionistic fuzzy perfectly regular weakly generalized continuous mappings and intuitionistic fuzzy perfectly regular weakly generalized open mappings in intuitionistic fuzzy topological space. Some of their properties are explored.

Introduction. Let/and g be continuous functions mapping the unit interval / into itself which commute under functional composition, that is, f(g(x)) = g(f(x)) for all x in /. In 1954 Eldon Dyer asked whether/and g must always have a common fixed point, meaning a point z in / for which f(z) = z=g(z). A. L. Shields posed the same question independently in 1955, as did Lester Dubins in 1956. The p...

Given a number L ≥ 1, a weakly L-quasiregular map on a domainΩ in spaceRn is amapu in a Sobolev spaceW 1,p loc (Ω;R n) that satisfies |Du(x)|n ≤ LdetDu(x) almost everywhere in Ω. In this paper, we study the problem concerning linear boundary values of weakly L-quasiregular mappings in spaceRn with dimension n ≥ 3. It turns out this problem depends on the power p of the underlyingSobolev space. ...

In this paper, we prove the following results: Let K be a closed convex subset of a real Banach space E. Let T := {T (t) | t ∈ R+} be strongly continuous semigroup of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings from K into K such that F (T ) := ∩t∈R+F (T (t)) 6= ∅, where F (T (t)) = {x ∈ K |T (t)x = x} and R+ denotes the set of nonnegative real numbers. Then for arbitrary x0 ∈ K, the implicit iteratio...

‎Let $mathscr{L}$ be a commutative subspace lattice generated by finite many commuting independent nests on a complex separable Hilbert space $mathbf{H}$ with ${rm dim}hspace{2pt}mathbf{H}geq 3$‎, ‎${rm Alg}mathscr{L}$‎ ‎the CSL algebra associated with $mathscr{L}$ and $mathscr{M}$ be an algebra containing ${rm Alg}mathscr{L}$‎. ‎This article is aimed at describing the form of‎ ‎additive mapppi...

The second author introduced notions of weak permutablity and commutativity between groups and proved the finiteness of a group generated by two weakly permutable finite subgroups. Two groups H, K weakly commute provided there exists a bijection f : H → K which fixes the identity and such that h commutes with its image h for all h ∈ H. The present paper gives support to conjectures about the ni...

in this paper we introduce the concept of weakly prime ternary subsemimodules of a ternary semimodule over a ternary semiring and obtain some characterizations of weakly prime ternary subsemimodules. we prove that if $n$ is a weakly prime subtractive ternary subsemimodule of a ternary $r$-semimodule $m$, then either $n$ is a prime ternary subsemimodule or $(n : m)(n : m)n = 0$. if $n$ is a $q$-...
