We establish the local and global theory for Cauchy problem of singular Hartree equation in three dimensions, that is, modification non-linear Schrodinger with n...
The particle system is affected by the Scraf II Hyperbolic potential. solution for solving Schrodinger equation with Scraff potential uses a semiclassical approach, namely using WKB approach. approach used to obtain an energy spectrum that Keywords: equation, potential,
We use the time-dependent Hartree approximation to obtain the solution IO the quantum higher-order non-linear Schrodinger equation. This equation describes femtosecond pulses propagating in non-linear optical fibres and can have soliton solutions. These solitons travel at velocities that differ from the picosecond solitons obtained from the standard quantum non-linear Schrodinger equation. We f...
We describe an optical transmission line that consists of an array of wavelength-scale optical disk resonators coupled to an optical waveguide. Such a structure leads to exotic optical characteristics, including ultraslow group velocities of propagation, enhanced optical nonlinearities, and large dispersion with a controllable magnitude and sign. This device supports soliton propagation, which ...
In a three-dimensional context, it is shown how wave functions may be chosen from among the solutions of the Schrodinger equation in a consistent way without demanding single valuedness, but by imposing an invariance condition on the domain of certain given linear operators. This leads to multiple-valued wave functions in certain situations, but disallows unquantized monopoles and "unusual" ang...
The coupled-channel Schrodinger equation with outgoing wave boundary conditions is employed to study the fine structure seen in the proton decay of deformed even- N, odd- Z rare earth nuclei 131Eu and 141Ho. Experimental lifetimes and proton-decay branching ratios are reproduced. Variations with the standard adiabatic theory are discussed.

In chis letter we integrate numerically the time dependent Schrodinger equation to investigate the use of a semi-infinite laser pulse to localize an electron in one of the wells of a double well quantum structure. Under certain conditions the system can be driven to emit stroxigly low frequency radiation.
We prove that one-dimensional Schrodinger operators with even almost periodic potential have no point spectrum for a dense Gδ in the hull. This implies purely singular continuous spectrum for the almost Mathieu equation for coupling larger than 2 and a dense Gδ in Θ even if the frequency is an irrational with good Diophantine properties.
