In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(8)H(6)BrI, the H atoms of methyl groups are disordered; site-occupation factors were fixed at 0.50. The non-H atoms all lie on a crystallographic mirror plane. Weak intra-molecular C-H⋯Br hydrogen bonds result in the formation of two non-planar five-membered rings.

Cutaneous toxoplasmosis is a rare manifestation. This study represents a case report of an immunosuppressed dog that developed nodular dermal lesions caused by Toxoplasma gondii. The isolate (TgDgBr20) was characterized as mouse virulent and was genotyped as type BrI (ToxoDB genotype 6) using PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) and as Africa 1 through microsatellite analysis.

The title compound, C(13)H(8)BrI(2)NO, was prepared by the reaction of 3,5-diiodo-salicyl-aldehyde with 4-bromo-phenyl-amine in ethanol. There is an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond in the mol-ecule, which generates an S(6) ring. The dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 2.6 (3)°.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(8)H(8)BrI, contains three independent mol-ecules. In each molecule, the Br, I and C atoms of the methyl groups lie in the benzene ring plane. Intra-molecular C-H⋯I hydrogen bonds result in the formation of three planar five-membered rings, which are nearly coplanar with the adjacent rings.

in the present work, we have obtained the equation of state for neutron star matter considering the in uence of the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic spin state. we have also investigated the structure of neutron stars. according to our results, the spin asymmetry sti ens the equation of state and leads to high mass for the neutron star.
