abstract previous researches have shown success of growth hormones usage on flower production increase, pod and prevention of abscission of them in some of the pulses. two tests were done, in order to find out the effects of growth hormones to on flower production increase, pod and chick pea yield composites in farmer conditions (2010-11) and green house conditions as factorial on the project base of accidental complete blocks in three repetitions. the test factors are included: hormones in four levels (gibberellin, eindole acetic acid, kinetin and control) , hormones density in two levels (50 and 100 ppm) and spraying times in two levels (one time in flowering starting and two times included flowering starting and two weeks after that). the results of farmer test showed that hormones usage increased the number of seed in plant and seed yield in chick pea considerably. the results of green house test indicated the effective role of hormones usage in increasing the number of flowers, composed pods and abscission reduction of them. kinetin increased the number of fertile pods and single seed pods, eindole acetic acid usage increasing the number of two-seed pods and eindole acetic acid usage kinetin increased the number of seed in plant, harvest index and seed weight relating to observer, it seems that hormones usage can be effective in reduction of flower abscission, pod and finally increasing the usage of it in chick pea.
