since the modern art is chosen to discuss, it means a wide expansion of art courses are affected by modernism that enter to the new realms. because of expanded subject, lack of sources and also the close relationship between painting and animation, this thesis emphasizes on the painting and it is recommended to use the phrase “modern painting” instead of modern art (which is more general). this thesis investigates about modern art and its concepts and approaches effect of that on animators. this effect has been aware able and the animators have tried to examine the modern painters experiences, and this has been also unaware able and it has derived from aesthetic experiences and modern art cogitations of animator s mind. the first chapter of this thesis is introducing the main genres and events of modern painting. the second chapter wants to discuss about the main animation studios and artists have been affected by modern art and modernistic experiences to present the animation artworks specially about the technique and visual aesthetic.
