چکیده

Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome/drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DIHS/DRESS) is a severe drug-induced adverse fever, cutaneous eruptions, hematological abnormalities, organ dysfunction, reactivation of human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6). Although rapid diagnosis necessary for the management DIHS/DRESS, it difficult to distinguish early phase DIHS/DRESS from other drug eruptions. We have previously reported that thymus activation-regulated chemokine (TARC), which plays an important role in Th2-mediated immune-inflammatory processes such as atopic dermatitis, serum soluble OX40 (CD134), has allergic inflammation functions cellular receptor HHV-6 entry, can be useful diagnostic marker DIHS/DRESS. The sensitivity specificity sOX40 (cut-off value 213 pg/ml) were 67% 80%, respectively. Those TARC 4000 72% 77%, In this study, order reveal relationship between levels acute well serological test using both we analyzed sera patients presenting our department. found two markers significantly correlated, combination increased 85% but decreased 73%. combined determination may increase detection rate

Clinical significance of serum thymus and activation-regulated chemokine in gastric cancer: Potential as a serum biomarker

Thymus and activation-regulated chemokine (TARC) can stimulate cancer cell proliferation and migration. The present study evaluated the clinical significance of serum TARC in gastric cancer (GC). We measured serum TARC, macrophage-derived chemokine, monocyte chemotactic protein-1 and stem cell factor (SCF) levels using a chemiluminescent immunoassay along the GC carcinogenesis (normal, high-ris...

Macrophage derived chemokine (CCL22), thymus and activation-regulated chemokine (CCL17), and CCR4 in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

BACKGROUND Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a chronically progressive interstitial lung disease of unknown etiology. Previously, we have demonstrated the selective upregulation of the macrophage-derived chemokine CCL22 and the thymus activation-regulated chemokine CCL17 among chemokines, in a rat model of radiation pneumonitis/pulmonary fibrosis and preliminarily observed an increase in b...

Plasma thymus and activation-regulated chemokine as an early response marker in classical Hodgkin's lymphoma.

BACKGROUND Plasma thymus and activation-regulated chemokine is a potential biomarker for classical Hodgkin's lymphoma. To define its value as a marker to monitor treatment response, we correlated serial plasma thymus and activation-regulated chemokine levels with clinical response in newly diagnosed and relapsed classical Hodgkin's lymphoma patients. DESIGN AND METHODS Plasma was collected fr...
