چکیده
Ammonia (NH3) volatilized from cropland significantly impacts the ecological environment and human health. The identification quantification of atmospheric sources NH3 are therefore important for emission reduction air pollution control. Choosing appropriate nitrogen (N) fertilizer types is one key ways to reduce emissions agricultural systems due different N fertilizers with factors. natural abundance isotope (δ15N) values can well identify source volatilization, although there rare research on δ15N-NH3 when applying fertilizers. Here, we conducted an incubation experiment study characteristics during whole volatilization process after were applied soil. results show that cumulative urea (U), urease inhibitor (UI), compound (CF) ammonium nitrate phosphate (AP) treatment was 5.25 ± 0.00, 3.11 3.22 0.19 1.38 0.12 kg ha−1 at end 15-day period, respectively. average δ15N value U, UI, CF AP treatments −36.02 4.95, −29.08 9.70, −35.18 4.98 −29.42 4.33‰, Generally, ranged −41.33 −6.30‰ process. lower in U than UI (p < 0.05), which suggests forms slow-release additions fertilizers, such as NO3−-N inhibitors, delay or slow down resulting relative isotopic enrichment. Therefore, basic properties changes soil NH4+-N impacted values.

Ammonia Volatilization from Dairy and Poultry Manure
Ammonia volatilization is a major N loss process for surface-applied manures and urea fertilizers. The lost ammonia is important for both agricultural and non-agricultural ecosystems because it: i) is a direct loss of plant available N to the farmer, ii) reduces the N:P ratio in manure, which accelerates P build-up in soils, and iii) contributes to eutrophication in aquatic and low-N input ecos...
متن کاملMoisture Quotients for Ammonia Volatilization from Four Soils in Potato Production Regions
Ammonia (NH3) emission from nitrogen (N) fertilizers used in agriculture decreases N uptake by the crop and negatively impacts air quality. In order to better understand the factors influencing NH3 emission from agriculture, this research was conducted with four major soils used for potato production: Biscayne Marl Soil (BMS, pH 7.27), and Krome Gravelly Loam (KGL, pH 7.69) from Florida; and Qu...

This research was conducted with Biscayne marl soil and Krome gravelly loam from Florida and Quincy fine sand and Warden silt loam from Washington to determine ammonia (NH3) volatilization at various temperature and soil water regimes. Potassium nitrate (KNO3), ammonium nitrate (NH4NO3), ammonium sulfate [(NH4)2SO4], or urea were applied to the soil at a rate of 75 kg N ha . Soil water regime w...
متن کاملEffects of Four Different Restoration Treatments on the Natural Abundance of 15N Stable Isotopes in Plants
δ(15)N signals in plant and soil material integrate over a number of biogeochemical processes related to nitrogen (N) and therefore provide information on net effects of multiple processes on N dynamics. In general little is known in many grassland restoration projects on soil-plant N dynamics in relation to the restoration treatments. In particular, δ(15)N signals may be a useful tool to asses...
