چکیده

This review demonstrates that 4D printing constitutes a key technology to enable significant advances in microrobotics. Unlike traditional microfabrication techniques, provides higher versatility, more sophisticated designs, and wide range of sensing actuation possibilities, opening new avenues for the next generation microrobots. It brings disruptive solutions terms variety stimuli, workspaces, motion complexities, response time, function execution, genuinely 3D light how soft smart materials directly printed are particularly well suited microrobotics requirements. gives an overview microrobotics, highlighting advanced requirements, fabrication methods, used materials, activation recent field, emerging opportunities.

Inkjet Printing as a Key Enabling Technology for Printed Electronics

In the past decade, the family of digital printing technologies has evolved from being just a tool to visualize information into a generator of functionalities. The phrase ′printing beyond color′ aptly sums up this transformation. While this family of printing technologies is still widely used to fulfill visual requirements, its development in the generation of functionality, especially in the ...

Biomimetic 4D printing.

Shape-morphing systems can be found in many areas, including smart textiles, autonomous robotics, biomedical devices, drug delivery and tissue engineering. The natural analogues of such systems are exemplified by nastic plant motions, where a variety of organs such as tendrils, bracts, leaves and flowers respond to environmental stimuli (such as humidity, light or touch) by varying internal tur...

Temporary fixing systems for applications in Microrobotics

This paper focuses on temporary fixing systems for microrobotics. Several solutions from the state of the art are presented and compared: solutions based on mechanical bending, electromagnetic elements, electrostatic forces, glues, polymers or Van der Waals forces. From this analysis, we designed and developed a new system based on thermal glue (that permits to exchange the tip part of a microg...
