5.3: Quantifying Natural Light for Lighting and Display Design

In natural scenes, the wavelength‐dependent sunlight scattering in atmosphere and presence of occluders mutual reflections cause variations local illumination's magnitude, direction, spectral composition as a function time space. Yet, unlike characterization temporal changes light, these spatial have received relatively limited attention. this paper, we employed light field concept to quantify those empirically demonstrated that they are significant how different contributions diffuse directed parts can be measured.
